I am writing to community groups in the City to offer to attend your community meeting and to answer questions on the subject on the council’s strategic city-wide parking review which was announced by the Cabinet Member for Environment last month. The review will take a year to complete, with an update given to the Cabinet Member after six months.
Further to my earlier emails, I thought that I should clear up a few things that
have proved difficult to grasp. After having spent seven years walking the
streets for NCP/NSL, Brunswick and Adelaide is one of the most irritating
areas in which to work.
In the side streets there is no denying the TLC
that is shown by the residents to the area, and the council keeps the area clean
and tidy as well. The parking wardens issue most fines in these roads, mainly

If you wish to inform Pallet truck
The council recently repainted the yellow loading restriction markers on the pavement as can be seen in this picture of a van parked right next to the bin.
The lines are in the bottom right and just under the bin.
People living in the Brunswick area are hoping that the removal of the taxi rank at the bottom of Brunswick Place will open up more car parking spaces for residents.
