Brunswick and Regency Neighbourhood Action Group holds its annual health open
event this Saturday 3rd December at Cornerstone Community Centre from 12 noon to
2pm.
There
will be information stalls, displays, refreshments and live music and please
note that local residents and representatives of community groups will have a
chance to have their say in the City's Big Alcohol Debate consultation exercise
in a special session from 1pm to 2pm .
You are warmly invited to attend the Brunswick and Regency Health
Celebration Event at Cornerstone Community Centre on Saturday 3rd December from
12 noon to 2pm.

There were 7 project applications presented in total and around £3,000 was allocated, leaving money for new projects to be funded.
Regency Ward:
Young people’s centre , ship street – Awarded fundsfor health issue drop ins , dealing with sexual health
application pack for Healthy Neighbourhoods Funding which is available to
community projects based in or working in the Brunswick and Regency Neighbourhood Action Group area.
Groups can apply for up to £500 to carry out health improving activities
that meet local health priorities - see the details attached.

At NatWest we know there are lots of fantastic groups
of local people making a difference in their community. I am sure you can think
of some in your ward. This is why I want to appeal to you, to help spread the
word about CommunityForce to these local groups.
Local residents and community groups
enjoyed a celebration of healthy activities at a community open day
at Cornerstone Community Centre last Saturday.
The Brunswick and Regency Neighbourhood
Action Group hosted the event which showcased the work of community
groups active in the area.
The family event will provide an opportunity to integrate communities
from across the city and raise awareness about the disaster in Haiti,
and to raise money for the orphans of Haiti.
A Coffee Morning, in my home, to raise money for Macmillan Nurses.
