Between 11.00am and 3.00pm, East Brighton Park will become the centre of local emergency service activity for the FREE "999" event.
CVSF Viewpoint: Sustainable Transport: Wed 7th July 6-8pm at Community Base conference room, Brighton.
This event will be a chance to hear about some of the transport plans and projects in the city, and to input into a refreshed CVSF Viewpoint on Sustainable Transport. If you have an interest in local transport issues please do attend this event as the views collected will feed into the development of the council’s next Local Transport Plan and will be used by CVSF elected reps sitting on the city’s transport partnership.
You may or may not be aware of the Big Caterpillar eco-art project that took place last year – it was supported by EBRA and created by Georgealexander Group for Friend’s of St Andrew’s Church. Emily Kingston will be project managing this year.
The family event will provide an opportunity to integrate communities from across the city and raise awareness about the disaster in Haiti, and to raise money for the orphans of Haiti.

our plans to make services fairer, easier to access and better for
everyone…
NHS Brighton and Hove, Brighton and Sussex University
Hospitals Trust and Brighton, and Hove City Council provide services for
everyone in the city – and we all deserve to be treated with fairness and
respect.
We’re making plans for the future to improve what we do: how
we work with communities and respond better to what people need, how we employ
the best staff who represent the diverse groups in the city, and how we work
together with other organisations and community groups to make our services
easier to access. These actions will form our equality schemes – and guide how
we will improve and measure our success.
Tell us what you think of our plans and what we should
include. You can either drop-in to one of our sessions -
