Old Town LAT Meeting
Email received reference the Regency LAT - Edited for clarity
Tuesday 28th April 6:30 to 7:30 ish Saint Paul’s West Street
Following on from the Brighton-wide meeting of all LAT chairs it became clear that our group needed redefining, so there was no confusion or overlap with other groups.
Our group is for the Old Town, so the area south of North Street, from West Street to the Old Steine. As this is only a part of the Regency Ward, to avoid confusion, our group is being renamed ‘Brighton Old Town LAT’.

Information from the fire service
Dear all,
The Fire Service provide free Home Safety Visits and will also fit smoke alarms free of charge if required.
We particularly want to visit our vulnerable groups within the community, and some of your contacts may know who these groups and people are.
This is essential as we recently had a fire death in our area, the person was known to social services but not to us.
They did not have a smoke alarm fitted that could have given them an early warning of a fire and may have saved their life.
The contact details for this service are Freephone 0800 177 7069
Kind regards
John Loveridge
