Communal Bins

We have had these bins partly installed in our area now for over two years. They work and our streets are cleaner because of them. So we welcome the Councils extension of the area they are installed in. On the negative side they are ugly - but I would add no uglier than some of the cars parked on our streets. We do however object to the placement of one of the new bins. The bin for Upper Market Street is to be placed in Cambridge Road. This means that a very busy main road and bus route has to be crossed to reach it. An accident will happen be sure of that.
