We are to have a 'Childrens' Crocus Planting' in Norfolk Sq on Saturday the 19th September. Meet in the Square at 11.15 am and in case of rain in The Atlas Bar.
The planting will in the middle of the lawns between the three new trees.
Have you children in the family who would like to join in the planting? They need not be residents of the EBRA area.
Please let me have their names so that we can allocate the free crocus to each of the children. Parents/Guardians will be expected to supervise their children although we will show them what way up the crocus must be planted. The ground will be dug and prepared ready for planting.
After the planting coffee and Tea will be provided by The Atlas Bar and the children will be given sweets.
It is hoped that this will encourage the children to take care of the environment. Hopefully it will also make them interested in Gardening and Green issues
