Dear Mr Mandville

We use Wincanton Distribution for our depot deliveries (Somerfield Logo, vehicles).
Please advise me of place, time and date.  A registration number of the vehicle is of great help as we can pin point the depot exactly.  I will then pass the information to the Transport Manager to try to rectify.

If you leave a telephone number I will ask that the Transport Manager contacts you direct to discuss.  Should the delivery be other than a depot delivery I will need to refer your complaint back to Gemma Chant in our Customer Services Department who will look into your query for you.

Regards,
Jane

Hello and thank you.

All the problems refer to the North Street Brighton store. I am aware that one of the vehicles are not yours, but I have included them for you to be aware of.

After receiving complaints from locals residing close to the store about deliveries tipping too near to the crossing.  The depot deliveries have been assessed and it has been agreed to tip at the front of the store which may require parking on double yellow lines.  The local authority web site notes that tipping is allowed up to approx 20 minutes on double yellow lines as long as "someone is seen to be tipping the delivery" we should not incuur a parking ticket.  Staff at the store will have to be ready to unload as soon as the vehicle arrives to negate a parking ticket as no waiting is allowed on double yellow lines.

I have attached the link provided to Brighton-Hove web site for information regarding parking on double yellow lines while tipping.

Can we please ensure we tip all deliveries as quickly as possible on arrival.

Regards
Jane
